The fjord Opløyfjorden is ideal for fishing. The fjord is protected from the open sea as there are numerous islands. You can visit one of the many islands, find yourself a peaceful beach. If you have the necessary equipment for diving you should bring it along. We can establish contact with a local diving-company.

Along the fjord you can visit the old remains. You will find the nature in this area to have a lot of variety. This is a very interesting area for anyone interested in geology.

During late summer and fall there is normally plenty of berries in the forest. You can find blueberries, cloudberry, cowberry and raspberry. There are also many different mushrooms.

We have 3 bikes for rent.

In walking distance from the cabins there are several trails (tractor trail) in the forest suitable for hiking or biking. Here you can also use wheelchairs and baby carriage. It is fairly common to spot both moose and different birds like grouse. Within a 10-km radius there are a lot of trials.

A fishing license gives you access to several very good lakes and rivers. You can catch trout, salmon and eel among others. In the river Oppløyelva you can catch salmon up to 16 kg!

There are also a lot of seashells. In the summer the seashells are inspected for poison every week.
